Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what information Belize Home Source ("we", "us") collects when you use belizehomesource.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you send us. When you use our contact or "Request info" forms, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), your message, and the property you asked about. If you call, text, WhatsApp, or email us, we receive whatever information you include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. We use this to run and protect the site.

Analytics and marketing cookies, only with your consent. If you accept cookies, we use:

  • Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and how people arrive).
  • Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

If you decline, these tools do not run. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • answer your questions and follow up about properties;
  • operate, secure, and improve the website;
  • measure how the site and our advertising perform, if you have given consent.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only for that purpose:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site, protects it from abuse (including the Turnstile spam check on our forms), manages cookie consent, and provides privacy-friendly visitor statistics that do not use cookies.
  • Resend delivers form submissions to our email inbox.
  • Sanity stores our website content and serves property photos.
  • OpenFreeMap provides the map tiles shown on property pages.
  • Google (Google Analytics) and Meta (Meta Pixel), only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies.
  • YouTube may show embedded videos. A video loads from YouTube only when you click play.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies

We use a cookie to remember your cookie choices. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only if you accept them. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, including Stay Floreo for rentals. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions and messages for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep normal business records. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics provider.

Where information is processed

We are based in Belize, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email john@belizehomesource.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy
